Let’s talk about what it’s actually like to be an investor in Stallion Capital Management’s Investor First Fund (IFF). Not the mechanics of how the fund works. This is about what the relationship looks like once you’re a member.
The Distributions
First things first: the returns.
Your distributions arrive in your account between the 17th and the 20th of every month. We target an 8.5% annual preferred return, which works out to roughly 0.7% each month. On a $250,000 investment, that comes out to about $1,770 landing in your account every month, and it continues for as long as you’re an investor in the fund.
The Communication
Maybe more important than the distributions is the communication.
We send statements every month. Every quarter, we hold an in-person investor meeting that you’re invited to attend. These take place in Austin. If you’re local, we’d love to see you there in person. If you need to travel in, we’re happy to help make arrangements. And if you can’t make it at all, you’ll still get the recording and the presentation by email.
At each meeting, we walk through fund performance and any new developments at the company. The point is simple: we want open lines of communication with you.
Your Dedicated Investor Representative
You will always have a dedicated investor representative you can call or email with any questions. Their job is to keep you connected. You can expect monthly emails and regular check-ins on your experience.
Taxes and Transparency
At the beginning of each year, we send guidance on your tax information, along with your K-1s and 1099s. We also share our annual audit. Every one of our funds is audited every year, and we make sure that audit is available to any investor who wants to review it, either with us directly or electronically.
Your Investor Portal
Any updates are also shared through our investor portal, powered by a platform called Juniper Square. The moment you become an investor, we set up your Juniper Square profile. Juniper Square shows every investment you hold, your tax information, and your full distribution history, all right at your fingertips.
And if you’d rather talk to a person than click through a portal, we’re right there for you.
